H. Marel Oil Painting on Board "Playing with Paint"
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by H. Marel. Titled Playing with Paint, this depicts three black and white kittens playing amongst a stack of artist tools, as their mother, sitting on a drape of sprigged fabric across the top of a frame, watches on. This work is signed in the lower right corner and presented within a gold tone wooden frame. A label from W. T Burger is attached on verso.
Condition
- some abrasions to painting across bottom edge, and bottom right; scratches to top left; cracks and chips to gesso of frame in multiple areas; painting and frame show surface dirt.
