Titled Feeding Chickens this genre work depicts a young girl, holding a basket feeing a small flock of chickens, before the wooden wheel of an old stone watermill. This work is signed in the lower corner ‘G. O Owen’ and presented within a gold tone wooden frame. A sticker with the title is attached on verso.

- craquelure throughout; paint is chipped off of canvas at top left corner; stains to the back of the canvas.
