An oil painting on canvas board by Charles J. Stokoe. This landscape work depicts two dock railings in the foreground, a red canoe with green trees and a pale blue sky fills in the background. The piece is signed to the lower left corner. It is presented in a gold tone gesso and wood frame with a wire to the verso ready to hang.
Condition
- to fair; yellowing to varnish; foxing and stains scattered across entire surface of painting; cracks and small areas of paint loss across bottom edge; stains to liner; wear to finish of frame; seams of frame are separating; stickers and writing to verso.
