C. Shayer Oil Painting on Wood Panel "Barnyard with Chickens"
Item Details
An oil painting on board by C. Shayer Titled Barnyard With Chickens, this depicts four plump chickens standing upon packed earth clearing before an open barn, with a green hill on the right, and a meandering path leading to a rural cottage in the distance. This work is signed ‘C. Shayer’ in the lower corner and presented within a gold tone wooden frame. A label from W.T Burger is attached on verso.
Condition
- some slight yellowing to varnish visible in sky; shows some surface dirt.
