Sargent Oil Painting on Canvas "Venice"
Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by Sargent. Titled Venice this depicts an early 20th century scene of the Rio de San Barnaba, from the Ponte dei Pugni looking East, with the facade on the Neoclassical chiesa on the right, and the 11th century campanile rising against the blue sky. The work is signed Sargent in the lower left corner and presented within a gold tone wood and gesso frame. Artist information is attached on verso.

- some minor wear to the edge of the frame.
