An oil painting on canvas of a European village. This impressionist style painting depicts a stone bridge with a Roman arch on the underside, which overlooks a shallow river near an idyllic European rural village. The village is populated with tall pitched roofs above half-timbered framed houses, and a figure wearing a red headscarf feeding a flock of chickens. The painting is signed illegibly in the lower right corner. This work is presented in a wooden frame with a velvet inner liner.
