An oil painting on canvas signed ‘Marc Chapaud’. The piece, titled Château d’Ô a Mortrée (Orne), depicts a morning scene in early spring, with a French Renaissance-era castle shown in the foreground. The painting captures the Orne, Normandy landscape in pastel hues of blue, green, pink, cream and burnt orange. The image is signed in black paint to the lower right. It is additionally signed and titled in pen to the verso. A label is adhered to the frame verso from W.T.
