An oil painting on canvas titled Dovelan en Bretagne (Dovelan in Brittany) by listed French artist Louis Rosan (b. 1926). This painting depicts a coastal scene with ships docked along a rocky harbor. In the distance is a black and white lighthouse and small town. This piece is signed two the lower right corner. To the verso, the titled is written on the canvas backing. As well as a biographical label for the artist and an informative label from W. T. Burgers Company, INC. Presented in an ornate wooden and gesso frame.
Condition
- frame has minor scratches throughout; craquelure present mainly on right side of image.
