Item Details

An engraved map of the Netherlands by famous English cartographer Thomas Jefferys (1719-1771), dated to the mid-18th century. The work depicts ‘The Seven United Provinces with the Austrian, French, and Dutch Netherlands.’ Map is marked with the cartographer and engraver’s name to the bottom right corner, in plate. Some of the hand-colored red to the map’s upper left corner is fading.

Condition

- good for the age of the item, there is: discoloration along the upper and lower edges; some tears along the edges; vertical creases to the paper; ink markings to verso upper left corner.
