An oil painting on canvas by 19th century English painter J.C. Moore. Titled Harlech Castle this depicts a man and his dog walking past stone cottages on the Ffordd Newydd, below the medieval Welsh fortress perched upon the craggy hill. This work is signed on verso and presented within an ornate gold tone wooden frame. Artist information is attached on verso.
Condition
- some edge wear on frame; cracks and abrasions on the frame, notably near bottom center edge; painting shows craquelure and some surface dirt.
