1894 George Harris Oil Painting on Canvas "The Mill"
Item Details
An 1894 oil painting on canvas by English painter George Harris (1855-1936). Titled The Mill this depicts the idyllic Gloucestershire countryside, with the River Boyde meandering past on the left, and a path leading down towards the flour mill and the village of Wick. This work is signed in the lower left corner ‘Geo Harris 1894’. It is presented within a gold tone wooden frame. Various labels are attached on verso.

- some toning to the painting; foxing evident along canvas matting.
