Item Details
An oil painting on canvas by French artist Ray David. Titled Market Place this depicts a crowded market, with peoples dressed in vibrant color blocks of oranges, greens, and reds, surrounded the various stall with a small flock on chickens in the lower left, and a wide fluted awning across the top. It is signed in the bottom right corner and presented in a gold tone gesso frame, wired for hanging. Artist information is attached on verso.
Condition
- some surface wear to the edge of the frame; some water damage to the backing paper.
