Item Details
A handwoven Persian Mahal pictorial area rug. The abrashed rust red field features a large stepped lozenge medallion flanked by vase of flower pendants. The field is further decorated with depictions of various types of guls and birds. A pair of minor chichi style borders with repeating diagonal bands flank the principal lobed flower border. The rug terminates in a cropped white cotton fringe.
