This over-sized publication contains thirty-two pages of black and white player photos, roosters, local and national advertisements, and other information related to the World Series. The front cover depicts the Cleveland Indians baseball mascot, ‘Chief Wahoo,’ above Municipal Stadium. The back cover portrays an Erin Brewing Cleveland, Ohio advertisement. Star players such as Bob Feller, Lou Boudreau, Mel Harder, Al Rosen, Connie Ryan, Tommy Holmes, Eddie Stanky, Alvin Dark, and Frank McCormick are presented in this publication. The Cleveland Indians defeated the Boston Braves in six games to capture their second World Championship. This program is housed in a plastic protective sleeve.
