An original World War I propaganda lithograph poster created by Henry Raleigh (1880-1945). Halt the Hun was issued in 1918 to promote the United States government bonds during the third Liberty Loan campaign. The striking image depicts an American soldier preventing a German soldier from interfering with a woman holding a baby. Henry Patrick Raleigh was a prolific illustrator who began as a newspaper sketch artist. The poster is framed in a black and gold frame with a picture wire.
