Item Details
A selection of artist proof offset lithographs after paintings by listed artist William Verdult. These three prints on paper depict Native Americans engaged in combat on horseback, a steering carriage, and a pair of travelers resting beneath a snowy tree. In plate signatures are seen to the lower corners of each composition, which are complimented by a hand-written artist signature and initialing ‘A/P’, indicating two prints as being an artist proof.
