After Paul Gauguin "The Swineherd" Giclee Print

Item Details

A contemporary giclee on paper after an 1888 painting by well listed French Post-Impressionist artist Paul Gauguin (1848-1903). The image, titled The Swineherd, depicts a pastoral scene in Brittany, with a young farmer tending to his pigs in fields above a small village. Colorful red and green tracts of land rise up to meet a blue sky with white clouds. The print is signed and dated in plate to the lower right. It is presented under glass in a wooden frame with hanging wire to the verso. More on Paul Gauguin and the original painting can be found by visiting the link below Additional Information.
