An intaglio print on black rag paper by an unknown artist. The image presents an East Asian scene, depicting figures in colorful robes walking near a red-roofed temple. A large tree, flying birds and floating clouds can be seen set against the pink sky. The work is signed ‘CH86’ to the lower left. It is matted in blue and presented under glass in a silver tone frame with hanging wire to the verso.

Condition

- some scratching to print surface; wear, tarnish and scratching to frame finish; silver tone elements to frame are loose; loose joints to frame; small holes and tape to frame backing.
