Antique Seth Thomas Mantel Clock

Item Details

An antique wooden mantel clock by Seth Thomas. The face features Roman numerals and it is encased in glass with a wooden frame. The clock is in a wooden cage with turned columns. The engraving reads, ‘S. Thomas, Plymouth, Conn, USA’. It does not operate.

Condition

- does not operate; wood has various wear and is cracked in back; door closes poorly and over-closes (going inside); top of glass panel covering door is broken/missing; clock face has much of paint/design worn away; striker for chime is hanging loose and looks slightly bent; chime, clock hands, and several other screws, cables, and other pieces are loose.
