A signed etching by listed artist John Marin (American, 1870–1953), titled Downtown New York. The print depicts an abstract city scene with pedestrians on the street and grand skyscrapers to the distance. The work was created in 1921. The print is signed John Marin in graphite to the lower left and signature in plate to the lower right. The piece is presented in a wooden frame with neutral matting behind glass. The early Modernist artist is famed for his abstract landscapes.
