Item Details

A silver plate samovar by William Hutton & Sons. This urn is comprised of silver plate and features a circular finial at its lid, two fluted handles terminating to acanthus leaf accents, and a body featuring fluting throughout its lower portion. The body includes a protruding arm with a spigot at its end. The urn rests on four fluted legs meeting claw feet, and four curved stretchers meet a circular stretcher at its center. The urn is marked to its underside ‘WH & SON MPA’.

Condition

- tarnish present; dispenser lid sticks and nozzle only partial twists.
