1890s Washington Irving Books Including "Life of George Washington" Complete in Three Volumes

A collection of two 1890s editions of works of Washington Irving. This ‘profusely illustrated’ edition of Irving’s Life of George Washington, complete in three black clothbound hardcovers with gilt cover text, was published circa the 1890s by Peter Fenelon Collier. Also included is a light blue clothbound hardcover edition of The Sketch Book of Geoffrey Crayon, Gentleman with color floral cover decoration, published circa 1898 by Henry Altemus of Philadelphia.
