1940s "Deitsch" Genuine Alligator Skin Purse

Item Details

A vintage genuine alligator skin handbag by ‘Deitsch’ from the 1940s. This bag features a dark brown alligator skin leather, a single strap, and a brass latch and framework. The purse opens to reveal a light tan leather interior with pockets and a coin purse that is attached with a hold chain. The makers mark and name can be found stamped in gold to the interior.

Condition

The strap is broken off on one side with heavy cracking and distress throughout. There is cracking throughout the exterior of the bag, especially near the edges and underside. The leather interior is in excellent condition.
