1940s S&S Genuine Taxidermy Alligator Handbag from Cuba

Item Details

A genuine alligator skin handbag that features the head and legs of a baby alligator. This bag features a thick brown leather stitching and there, a brass snap clasp to the flap, are orange glass in the alligators head. When opened a brown suede interior is revealed with a single zipper pocket. ‘Genuine Alligator by S&S – Made in Cuba’ can be found stamped to the interior of the flap.

Condition

Strap is broken off completely on one side and almost entirely to the other. Scuffing, peeling, and cracking to leather throughout bag – especially near the edges and seams. Interior is in excellent condition. The leather stitching is in good shape.
