A handwoven Indo-Persian Bidjar area rug. The rug displays an intricate multi-pointed roundel medallion set over a a herati patterned, cream colored, lozenge-shaped field. The field is bound by burnt orange spandrels, and a herati floral border with deep green ground. The rug is completed with short overcast edges and knotted cotton fringe.
