Pietro Lazzari Offset Lithographs "_I Carbonizzati_" Plates XXX and XIII

A pair of offset lithograph reproductions of works by Pietro Lazzari (Italian American, 1895-1979). Pietro Lazzari received his art training at the Ornamental School of Rome and joined the Italian Futurist Movement after the close of WWI. He is known as both a painter and a sculptor. Lazzari studied and worked in Rome and Paris until the rise of Fascism prompted a move to New York. These two abstract prints, suggestive of human figures, are taken from lazzari’s book, I Carbonizzati published in 1967. One is labeled ‘Plate XXX/I Carbonizzati/Pietro Lazzari, 1967 while the other is designated ’Plate XIII/I Carbonizzati/Pietro Lazzari, 1967’. The prints are presented in narrow black frames with picture wires.

Damage to frames. Foxing. May require cleaning.
