Item Details

An antique Chinese Chippendale style mahogany secretary bookcase. Features a cornice top with dentil detailing and a border with woven detailing in relief to the top. The bookcase features a mirrored back with two additional shelves and multiple drawers for storage and glass fronted doors with lattice fretwork and a brass escutcheon. The secretary features a drop front revealing a writing desk held by two slides, and a variety of cubbies and drawers for extra storage. The base of the piece features five drawers finished with round brass bails and pulls. It rests on four bracket feet.
