T.G. Hawkes & Co Glass Compote With Sterling Silver Pedestal

A glass and sterling silver compote by T.G. Hawkes & Company of Corning, New York. The oval glass bowl features flaring petal edges and has been ornamented with sand etched circular forms. It rises upon a weighted sterling silver flaring base. The base of the glass bowl is etched ‘Hawkes’ and the pedestal is stamped underneath ‘sterling 27 pwts’.

Condition

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and minimal tarnishing.
