Mueck-Cary Sterling Silver "Royal Rose" Pierced Plate

A vintage 1940s to 1950s sterling silver cake plate by Mueck-Carey in their Royal Rose pattern. Mueck-Carey was known to be active in the 1940s and 1950s, later it became part of Towle Silversmiths. This pierced bonbon plate features an inner pierced border with six large cabbage roses spaced evenly within and an outer border composed of small cabbage roses. Marked on the back with maker’s mark and “sterling 796”. The approximate weight is 8.430 ozt.
