1853 Tiffany & Co. English Sterling Silver Pitcher
Item Details
An antique Tiffany & Co. English pitcher. This large jug was produced in 1853 for the Tiffany & Co. department store. The piece is embellished with oval beaded borders, engraved decoration featuring cattails and a round stepped foot. Impressed marks on the underside read ‘Tiffany & Co. English Sterling 925-1000’. An address of ‘550 Broadway’ Tiffany & Co.‘s New York address is also present together with an ’M’ hallmark corresponding to a date of 1853. The approximate weight is 32.105 ozt.

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and tarnishing.
