An acrylic painting on canvas of a landscape. This painting depicts a calm stream flowing through a grassy creek populated by a canopy of trees. An artist signature appearing to read ‘Charq’ is seen to the lower left margin of the composition. The painting is presented in a gold tone wooden frame featuring moulded foliate and palmette patterning to the surface. To the verso is a hand-written inscription reading ‘Belgium, Bought Oct. 1974’.
