Antique Gorham Sterling "Cambridge" Teaspoons

Item Details

A set of six sterling silver spoons. The pieces were produced by Gorham silversmiths of Providence, Rhode Island in the Cambridge pattern which was issued in 1899. It is interesting to note that this is the identical pattern to English Rose by Durgin. The pieces have a beaded edge with repousse roses at the top. An etched monogram is present on the front and the date ‘09’ on the reverse together with Gorham’s pseudo hallmark consisting of a lion, anchor and ‘G’ and ‘Sterling’. The total approximate weight is 3.690 ozt.

- some minor surface wear with faint markings and tarnishing; monograms are present.
