A vintage handmade desert scene diorama from the Landscape View Company, circa 1950s. This diorama is a representation of real vegetation found in the desert, and modeling clay. It includes a pastel background and oil painted foreground. The cacti represented are giant cactus, ocatillo (red tip) barrel cactus, sage brush, yucca and cholla cactus. It is presented in a seasoned wood frame from a giant cactus, with a wire ready to hang. The reverse is marked with information from the Landscape View Company, Tuscon, Arizona.
