Early 20th Century Landstrom Furniture Secretary Desk with Chair

An early 20th-century secretary desk and chair. Composed of mahogany, the Chippendale style desk features a molded open pediment with a turned finial atop two glass panel doors with decorative mullions. The doors open to reveal a single shelf. The slant front folds down to reveal interior pigeon holes, drawers, and a door compartment. The lower portion of the piece is comprised of three stacked swan front drawers with brass pulls terminating to claw and ball feet. The key is included. The Windsor style wooden chair features a cross-shaped rush seat with turned legs joined by stretchers. The desk is made by Landstrom Furniture.
