1939 Oil Painting on Board of a Rural Landscape
Item Details
A 1939 oil painting on masonite. This depicts an idyllic pastoral landscape, with a wooden fence across the middle ground, bisecting the gently rolling hills, with a dense tree line visible in the distance. It is signed in the bottom right corner what appears to read ‘G. Stenqrick’ however no artist attribution could be made. This work is presented in a painted wooden frame, wired for hanging.
Condition
- frame has scratches throughout; paint has flaked off of frame throughout; item shows some surface dirt; no dust cover; artwork was loose in frame, reinforced with fletcher points.
