1930s Will Rodgers Advertising Thermometer and Print

A 1930s Will Rodgers advertising thermometer glass framed display. This thermometer comes in a gold metal frame and depicts a color image of this legendary American hero. The thermometer has a poem that is titled ’S’Long’ Will’ that was done by Leon Chase Butler. This poem honored the life of Will Rogers who passed away in 1935. The advertising thermometer was sponsored by Hi-Port Bottling Works Batavia, Ohio which is listed on this display. Also enclosed is a 1930s publicity color-tinted print of Will Rodgers which is stamped Made in U.S.A. There is a replica signature on this print.

- Appears that the thermometer is working and still functional.
