Evelyn L. Liner Reverse Lucite Painting "Blue Flower #4"

An original reverse lucite acrylic painting titled Blue Flower #4 by contemporary artist Evelyn L. Liner. This piece depicts a vibrant blossomed flower with violet petals and a pink pistil, situated amongst dense foliage. This work is signed by the artist to the lower right. Presented in lucite frame fabricated onto the painting itself. The title and cleaning instructions for the plexiglass are inscribed on the verso.

Evelyn L. Liner received her artistic training from the University of Cincinnati. Liner typically creates reverse glass paintings, rendered in vibrant colors. Her work has been accepted into a number of juried shows including the Bluegrass Open in Louisville, Kentucky, Summerfair, Cincinnati, Ohio, and the Dayton Museum Gallery Show. Along with juried shows, Liner’s work has been on display at several Cincinnati area institutions such as: Closson’s Gallery; Miller Gallery; and Malton Gallery.
