A mixed media artwork depicting a Victorian woman. The piece comprises a photograph printed on leather depicting a woman in elegant dress posing next to a vase of flowers raised on a pedestal The photograph has been cut-out and adhered to a fitted board, which has been affixed to a rectangular plank finished with beveled edges. The back of the board is marked with the depiction of a fish and writing which is faded and illegible, one word possibly reading O’Brien or similar. Wired for hanging.

Condition

- several scratches to wood board. Leather image is crackling and separating from wood.
