A framed offset lithograph of The Professor’s House by Kentucky artist Paul Sawyier (1865-1917). Sawyier was commissioned by a Philadelphia physician, Dr. J. Leslie Davis, to paint several views of his Kentucky home in Jessamine County. The print shows a house surrounded by trees painted in a impressionistic style. The print is double matted and framed in a gilt frame behind glass.

Condition

Minor scratches on frame, pouch to back of piece causing some damage to paper backing.
