1927 Fruit Crate Label "Statue California Bartletts"
Item Details
A vintage 1927 fruit crate label. The offset lithograph has a copyright date of 1927. The image for the Statue of Liberty advertises Statue California Bartletts produced in California. The California Fruit Exchange (Blue Anchor) formed in 1901. This type of organization of growers helped market the farmers’ produce. They also helped negotiate contracts with the railroad and produce brokers.The label is matted and framed in an ornate gold tone frame with sawtooth hook on the reverse.

The label has been recently framed.
