George Petty Offset Lithograph January 1955 "Esquire" Pin Up Calendar Page

An original vintage George Petty pin up girl for Esquire magazine. Miss January of 1955 wears toe shoes, a sun hat, a transparent body suit, and not much more as she throws a bright smile over a bare shoulder. ‘The resolutions that I swore/I blithely broke in ’54—/It won me such a tidy treasure,/Now I can repent at leisure’. Petty’s signature appears in the plate in red and the calendar is printed in the lower right corner. The page has been mounted on a pink mat and is framed in a narrow black frame with picture wire on the reverse.

Condition

Recently framed. One of the slots at the top of the page is torn. Slight discoloration at edges.
