An assortment of vintage and antique children’s books. This assortment of sixteen books includes Johnny Gruelle’s Raggedy Ann in the Deep Deep Woods (Chicago: M. A. Donohue & Company, 1930) as well as two other books with color illustrations: Robert Louis Stevenson’s A Child’s Garden of Verses (Chicago: Rand, McNally & Co., 1902) and Charlotte B. Herr’s The Unselfish Pig (Chicago: P. F. Volland, 1913). Other titles include My Little Geography (Philadelphia: Lindsay & Blakiston, 1847), Don’t Touch It (New York: William Wood & Co., c. 1835), The Two Sisters (New York: Lane & Scott, 1852), Why the Chimes Rang (Indianapolis: Bobbs-Merrill, 1909) and more. This collection also includes a 1980 facsimile edition of Kate Greenaway’s Birthday Book, originally published in 1930.
