A chromogenic color photograph on glossy photo paper after extremely well-listed 20th century portrait photographer Philippe Halsman (American/Latvian, 1906 – 1979). The photograph depicts a vividly posterized portrait of famed American pop artist Andy Warhol (1928 – 1987); he is cast in dramatic fields of red and blue light and holds his finger to his eyeball in suspense.. The photograph was taken in 1968 and released in a 1989 portfolio of eight color chromogenic prints, released in a limited edition run of 100. Presented without matting or framing, awaiting your choice of presentation.
