After Alphonse Mucha Offset Lithographs "L'Automne" and "Four Jewels: Emerald"
Item Details
A pair of offset lithographs on paper after works by Alphonse Mucha. Both these works are tall, rectangular images featuring young women and decorative motifs; L’Automne is in a warm palette of green, yellow and orange and features a woman in a long gown holding a wide basket of fruit, while Four Jewels: Emerald (or L’Emeraude) is in a bolder palette of reds and browns and features a bare-shouldered woman resting her hands on the head of a dragon or other fantastic beast. Both prints are marked at the lower left, ‘© 1975 Portal Publications • Corte Madera, California 94925’.
Condition
- both wrapped in plastic on cardboard; corner wear; plastic torn on one.
