An assortment of photography books focusing on American history. This group features three works including a printing of A Kentucky Album edited by Beverly W. Brannan and David Horvath published in 1986 by The University Press of Kentucky and a printing of U.S. Camera 1948 edited by Tom Maloney published by U.S. Camera Publishers. Also included is a biography of Mathew Brady titled Mathew Brady: Historian with a Camera by James D. Horan published in 1955 by Bonanza Books. As one of the earliest American photographers, Mathew Brady is known for his photography of the Civil War as well as political figures on both sides of the war.
