A signed 1949 printer’s proof stone lithograph by well-listed Adolf Dehn (New York/Minnesota; 1895 – 1968), titled Mountain in Autumn. This image depicts a striking rendering of Pikes Peak in Colorado and the surrounding hills, valleys, and vegetation. The bottom margin is marked printer’s proof ‘for L. B.’, (Lawrence Barrett, according to the verso), titled, signed and dated in pencil by the artist. The print is mounted behind white mat, under glass in a simple wood frame. The verso is marked with additional information about the print.
Condition
- light discoloration to print and mat. Print is not centered within mat. Finish of frame is lightly worn.
