An assortment of antique books. These twelve clothbound hardcovers, published between 1850 and 1913, feature titles such as Harvest Gleanings, A Holiday Book, edited by M. A. Dwight (New York: Gates, Stedman & Company, 1850); Holidays at Home: For Boys and Girls by Margaret Vandegrift (Philadelphia: Porter & Coates, 1882); and Swingin’ Round the Cirkle, by David Ross Locke in the satirical persona of Petroleum V. Nasby, with illustrations by Thomas Nast (Boston: Lee and Shepard, 1867). Also included is a vintage edition of the autobiography A Woman Rice Planter by Patience Pennington (New York: Macmillan, 1928).
