Vintage Dresden West Germany Porcelain Figurine

A vintage Desden porcelain figurine. This Dresden porcelain figurine features a pink lace dress with cream ruffles around the two layers, waist, and neckline. Her delicate fingers are tipped in red. Gold tone embellishments are added to the sleeves, dress front, shoes, and base. Seated beside her is a small brown dog gazing up at her. The intricate lace design was created by dipping lace in porcelain paste then kiln baked so that the cotton lace burned away and left the fragile porcelain lace behind. The verso is marked with a five pointed crown, ‘N Dresden, Made in Western Germany’.
