Victorian Mahogany Marble Top Dresser

Item Details

A Victorian mahogany marble top dresser. The dresser features two glove drawers to top flanking a brown marble panel to center, over three full drawers below. The drawers have hand-cut dovetails with flame mahogany veneer fronts, carved wood escutcheons and clear pressed glass knobs. The case has canted sides with applied turned wood accents and beaded molding to the base. Unmarked by the maker.

Condition

to Fair – with scratching and wear to finish. The glove drawers, marble and wood top are loose from base. There is a hole to top where a mirror would have been mounted.
