An original signed oil painting on canvas by contemporary American painter Husidio John Tempest (born 1953). The abstract painting depicts twisting forms in vibrant shades of purple, orange, and green swirling into centralized points across the image The painting is created in the style of the “Abstract Spiritualist” paintings created by the artist’s famed father Gerard Francis Tempest (1918 – 2009). The painting is signed to the lower left. It is unframed. Tempest comes from a long line of successful artists and studied with one of his father’s best friends, extremely well-listed Italian Surrealist Giorgio de Chirico (1888 – 1978).
